- 3 tablespoons black tea leaves or 3 tea bags
- 5 cups boiling water
- 1/3-2/3 cups sugar
- 4 whole cloves
- 2-3 cardamom pods cracked open or 1/2 tsp ground
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Steep black tea leaves in boiling water.
- Add rest of ingredients
- Simmer 10 minutes to blend flavors.
- Strain and serve hot.
